NEW SONG CONTEST > The Mountain Stage NewSong Festival has announced winners of its songwriting contest for 2005, and Terramara's song, Running Down the Avenue, has won an honorable mention in the Rock category. The song is the first track on Terramara's new CD, Four Blocks To Hennepin.
Here's what they had to say:
"Congratulations! You’ve been selected for an Honorable Mention award in the 2005 Mountain Stage NewSong Contest, presented by Performing Songwriter Magazine. This is quite an achievement as we received entries from around the world in all genres of music. The NewSong Contest is fast becoming one of the preeminent singer-songwriter contests in the country, so you’ve earned some bragging rights, given the high level of international talent in the contest.
