WB CONTEST UPDATE > Terramara in the WB "Strictly Original" New Music Competition
In this locally televised battle-of-the-bands, Terramara was selected from hundreds of audition tapes to be one of 15 semi-finalists. On Thursday evening, July 28th, we taped our performance of "Running Down The Avenue" live at America's Original Sports Bar in the Mall of America in front of a live audience. Before the taping we gathered for an on camera interview while munchiing large quantities of Pizza Hut Pizza (the sponsor).
The five episodes of the show will begin airing on the WB Minnesota (channel 8 and 23) every Monday night at 9 pm starting August 8. Terramara's segment will air on Monday, August 29, and then be rebroadcast the following night, August 30th. You, the viewers, will determine who wins by voting online after the show at their official website: www.rsvpizza.com.
Needless to say we will be hounding you and every relative you have to log on for this vote. The stakes are high: grand prize is a recording contract, $1500 worth of promotional materials, and a year's worth of pizza.
If we win the vote on that episode, we will advance to the finals, where there will be another broadcast of a performance and this time judges will determine the winner. Keep your fingers on the keys and get ready to vote. More details and official rules at their website linked above.
